Dang, that looks nice! And beefy! I like it.

What is the little piece of equipment, sitting in the background, with the rims piled on it's base? A snow cone maker? The handle makes me think mini drill press, but I don't see a motor, chuck, or cord anywhere. I thought maybe a hand tapper, but there is no handle for turning the taps. Can't be an arbor press. Not even leverage with those little handles. I give up!

if you really want to know http://www.alspi.com/corepress.htm I found it in a scrounging trip at a place similar to HGR industrial surplus . I thought it was a press of some sort . So, I grabbed for some wild idea of using as 1 till I investigated it a little more . It's got a granite base and a dial indicator put in it and we got a hight test stand

Huh? Are you thinking about getting into shin grafting or something? A tissue coring press? One of those, 'I didn't know that even existed' kind of things. Using it as a height test stand, in the mean time, while you read the manual, doesn't sound to bad.

Track sprockets and gears look great, by the way!

They would be better than the old straight cut bevel gears.

I wonder how hard they are ? these nitro ring and pinions are pretty tough .
