Re: Liebherr R954C
May I ask why you are going for an axial piston motor and not radial?
Axial machines typically have considerably higher RPMs than radial ones for a given power and hence lower torque on the shaft...

Awesome truck and great combo! :)
For the camera, you can put it onto a bean bag (which you can make yourself) or just something that is stable and a bit off the ground, like a few books or...

Re: Pistenbully 600 w/ passenger cab 1:10
Looks great!
Sorry to hear about the motor problem.
I guess the screws are too long and reach into the gearbox?
I would hope that if you use a shorter screw, it would work and didn't do too much...

Re: 1/16 Bucyrus Erie 22B-III
I think that converted servos are really useful and they are basically nothing else than gear motors in a different form factor and packaging anyway?
As long as their gear ratio matches the...

Re: Bruder Liebherr loader build
Heavy duty Bruderism, great!
Is the screw drive an adapted hand-drill? One of those that you push with your hand - sometimes called Archimedean Drill? I think they might be much smoother than drill...

Re: Volvo G990 Grader
Bending those thick plates so precisely is no small feat, especially considering that the notches and fingers still line up perfectly! Wow!

Re: MPE – 24M Motor Grader Build
Hi Footprint!
Hm...
But we do not need xbee range. Beyond 10m, it gets really hard to grade, beyond 30m, it gets really hard to even steer. (1m is roughly one yard.)
Here's what I currently...

Re: MPE – 24M Motor Grader Build
Hi footprint!
On my grader I currently use two modified Turnigy 9x transmitters to control 16 functions.
But I plan to switch to my own arduino-based transmitter with more functionality.
I am...

Re: Volvo G990 Grader
Hi Stefan!
The float position is rather nice to have, I found.
I solved this mechanically, which won't help you - but the experience of the float position has convinced me that it is worth some...

Hi Stefan!
Welcome here - I haven't seen the full CAD images before - cool :)
30 functions? Is that including light and sound?
I have "only" 16 in my grader.
Are you going to do a floating...

Re: dodge L 1000
Great build!
I think the long trailer looks better - but you could do a short trailer with only one axle and then the proportions would also be very good, I think.

Re: Radio trouble
The skysport 4 is a four-channel radio - enough for your truck and transmission, but this means that channels 5 and 6 on your receiver will be empty.
I found a German manual, at least it shows you...

Re: Audio jack for slip ring?
I use one in the circle drive of my grader.
Mono has two poles
Stereo has three poles (common ground, left, right)
There are some four-pole ones available, but I only found them for the smaller...
