Re: King Hauler Ideas/Help

Hand drill works just as good as a drill press I find. I just make sure I center punch the hole then start with a small bit and work my way up to what I need for a through hole or a hole that will...

Re: King Hauler Ideas/Help

The only frame I have for reference from Joe is the one from the dolly. But the holes are drilled for the screw to pass through and be nutted on the other side to hold the part on. Not a way I...

Re: King Hauler Ideas/Help

I'm not a fan of those extension blocks. Personally I would start with a blank frame and go from there. Cut it to the length you like and drill the holes you need. Nice thing about the blank...

Re: Support legs motor voltage?

Travis would be correct that the legs only use 3v. I would try the winch controller at 3v and see what happens before increasing the voltage on the motor and possibly damaging it. If it won't work...

Re: New truck

Looks like a good truck to pick up. Lots of time in that paint. What are you planning on doing with it to fix it up or personalize it?

Re: My Cascadia build.

Ok been a while since I've updated this with some good pics. A few of use got together yesterday and I made sure I snapped a few of the finished Cascadia. I've done a few things since the last...

Re: Wrong Radio?

The radio might have reversing switches on them but keep in mind that means all the functions that are controlled by the MFU will be reversed as well if you have to reverse the servo's to work...

Re: Wrong Radio?

I'm not 100% sure if the Tamiya radio comes with the shift gate or not. I know the Futaba version does come with one and the Tamiya is just a rebadge version.

Another thing you are going to have...

Re: Tamiya Stock Motor

With these style of motors the brushes are a very hard compound for what they hope is long life. If they aren't broken in they tend to glaze the brushes as well as the commutator which then causes...

Re: Help with MFC-01

Black goes to the outside. If you need to test it use one of the servo wires on the MFC. The futaba style end will only plug in one way unless of course you've cut off the piece molded onto the...

Re: Low Loader/ Float Trailer

True enough on flat land but think about when you start pulling hills the weight starts to transfer more towards the back and lifts weight off the drives, specially in cases with tall loads like a...

Re: Tamiya Stock Motor

Right out of the box with my Cascadia build I went with the Tamiya 33t motor. Found it was still to fast so just went to the RC4WD 65t and love it. So anything in that range will be good in my...

Re: Low Loader/ Float Trailer

In a case like this usually there won't be enough weight on the fifth wheel for good traction so the dolly will be hooked to the trailer and then to a tractor fitted with a weight box on the fifth...

Re: how can i get one esc two work on two receivers?

I'd say it should work. Only way to really find out is bench test it. If you can simply unplug the ESC from one RX to another without having to reprogram it then I really don't see an issue.

Re: how can i get one esc two work on two receivers?

I'm assuming you are wanting the ESC to power both RX's? If this is the case you can use a y-harness but you'll have to unplug the signal wire from the RX that is just being powered by the ESC. ...

Frame catwalk material.

I've seen a few trucks that have some nice material used for the catwalk between the frame rails that actually looks like a catwalk not just a solid piece of metal, but haven't been able to find...
