Hi Wayne,

they are a little smaller than a std Tamiya one but you could get another pair and file them down to suit, this is my long term plan, but for now the clear looks ok...ps not fitted in...

At this stage I will use thin double sided tape but you could easily drill and tap it to take the M3 screws, it is 8mm thick so would be easy to do.

I moved the cab back 10mm with the idea of adding the 10mm to the Hood to give the clearance needed for the guards as they rotate through under the air cleaners and found...

I think the difference must be the guards as I can not tilt the hood with the air cleaners on as the guards catch the bottom of them. My solution is to lengthen the Hood 20mm, this will make it more...

Great work with the tilting Hood, how close are the guards to the air cleaners when you tilt it? have you lengthened the bonnet?

Hi, thanks for the comments

I got the light kit off ebay, its just a std car one that I have modified to suit the truck.

Cutting the hood was not easy, not sure what everyone else that has done...
